Chemical industry enterprises produce heavy organic synthesis products, urea-formaldehyde resin, aerosil (silica), fine chemicals, household chemicals, etc.

LLC «Karpatnaftokhim» (http://www.knh.com.ua) is the only Ukrainian producer of ethylene, propylene, petroleum benzene, membrane-grade caustic soda, and polymer products such as polyethylene and suspension polyvinyl chloride (PVC). In 2019, the company became a business leader in Ukraine an received an award from the Federation of Employers of Ukraine in the «Despite the Crisis» category.

More than 2,600 people are employed at the enterprise, and a number of economically efficient projects have been implemented. In 2019, construction began on a propylene oxide production unit. The next major project is the construction of a pyrolysis fraction processing unit, which will allow for the expansion of high value-added production.

LLC «Padana Chemical Compounds» (http://www.pcc.com.ua) is one of the leading producers of a wide range of cable and PVC plasticizers and solid compounds.
A new, modern technological line has been launched at the plant for the production of innovative import-substituting raw materials used in the manufacture of medical equipment.
In 2018, a production line for PVC raw materials was launched. The investment in this project amounted to €15 million.

LLC «Kalush Pipe Plant» (http://ktz.com.ua) has introduced an innovative infrared socket forming method, which has halved electricity consumption and increased labor productivity.
The company is a subsidiary of Radius Systems Ltd, a UK-based leader in polymer pipeline systems and one of the largest producers of plastic pipes and fittings in Europe.
This year, the plant began producing:

  • KORSIS corrugated polyethylene non-pressure pipes (diameter 63–250 mm) for sewage and drainage,

  • Pipes with protective outer coating for water and gas supply networks.
