President of the American Chamber of Commerce visited Ivano-Frankivsk region

In order to get acquainted with the activity of large-scale industrial facilities of the region that are successfully implementing investment projects, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine Andy Hunder visited the region on January 15-18, 2020.

According to the survey of 600 companies that are already operating in Ukraine held by American Chamber of Commerce, 88% have revenue growth. These positive sentiments stimulate and interest other foreign investors, who are studying the situation in the regions of our country, as well as industries in which investment activities can be developed. "The purpose of my visit is to see specific companies in Ivano-Frankivsk region that are successfully operating, to meet with the local authorities and to understand the situation in general, to convey information to the investor and, through specific examples of successful business, to interest them to work in Ukraine", - said Andy Hunder.

During the meeting with the leadership of the regional state administration, they discussed the investment potential of the region, attracting investments in the country`s economy and important aspects for doing foreign business in Ukraine. These are rule of law, macroeconomic stability, cooperation with the International Monetary Fund and transparent tax policy, as well as infrastructure and logistics.

The US Chamber of Commerce works in a two-way direction: it not only informs Ukraine`s investment potential, but also helps Ukrainian companies that export their products to work with US markets.
