Ivano-Frankovsk Regional State Administration became a participant of the UN Global Compact

Ivano-Frankovsk Regional State Administration became the first in Ukraine and one of the first among non-business organizations in general, which joined the UN Global Compact. The Global Compact advocates the principles of corporate social responsibility, with special attention paid to achieving the UN goals in four main areas, which the Ivano-Frankovsk Regional State Administration is obligated to comply.

In particular, human rights, labor relations, the environment and anti-corruption. Global Compact network members should implement 10 universal principles that represent the best ways to achieve these goals. According to official figures, there are currently 9,000 companies and 4,000 non-business organizations that are signatories.
